Giving back to those who don't a have home

We don't think enough about how well we really have it and we often forget that there are over 500,000 homeless men, women, and children on the streets.

 

We have partnered with our beloved friend John Higginbotham to help him "Fill Hearts with Hope by Filling Buckets with Help."

​

Christ put God's Bucket Brigade on his heart and he has never looked back. He left his high-paying job security and took a leap of faith to follow what God had been telling him to do.

​

John is truly a one of a kind guy that we were blessed to meet and serve with at church. We are happy to help John beyond our personal giving by purchasing buckets for each closed transaction so John can touch the lives of people around that may just need a leg-up while opening the door to let them know there is hope through Christ!

"God gave me a heart for the homeless, and now he has given me a mission. More than fifteen years ago, I began supporting Kansas City Rescue Mission with my time, treasure and talent. God led me to go beyond simply writing a check by actually getting to know the men and women that society has forgotten. I immediately felt a connection with these people, and I realized they have many of the same needs and aspirations as everyone else in our community. Many of them want to change their circumstances and simply need a helping hand. As a result, God called me to start God’s Bucket Brigade."
